Kelly Engineering has a long-term contract opportunity with Honda located in Tallapoosa, GA for a Quality Engineer!
Ideal candidate with come from an aluminum casting environment.
- Requires a BS in engineering or appropriate comparable discipline.
- Technical knowledge to solve substantive work-related problems.
- Must have knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis tools.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills including word processing and data analysis software.
- Pays attention to detail and sets high personal goals or standards of performance.
- Generates creative solutions to technical problems and is open to trying different and novel approaches.
- Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships. Provides basic project management skills and is able to determine a project timeline.
- Understands basic statistical methods.
- Ability to determine if a product meets customer requirements, to execute customer test plans, participate in design and test reviews, work in team to reach technical project goals, report research and test results in customers format.
- Must critically evaluate and correct deficiencies in technical proposals, plans and reports.
