Quality Inspector
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Inspector  for our client a leading medical device manufacturer in St. Louis, Missouri.  If you’re passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.

Schedule: On-site Monday through Friday day shift
DIRECT Hire
Pay: $24- 25 an hour Depending on experience

Responsibilities           

  • Ensure compliance of received and internal components, assemblies and products to design requirements through physical, visual, and specialized testing and inspection.

  • Assist in create, validate and implement receiving inspection and test processes to ensure component/product compliance.

  • Work with Procurement and suppliers as necessary to communicate and help resolve receiving inspection issues documentation issues, nonconformance’s, etc.

  • Inspection Perform receiving inspection functions on machined, molded, electrical and similar components, utilize a wide variety of measurement tools i.e. calipers, micrometers, CMM, Vision Systems, etc.

  • Document inspection results per company procedures.

  • Release components to inventory based on receiving inspection results in accordance with procedures.

  • Statistical Tools Interpret and implement various statistical tools including ANSI standard sampling plans, Process control charts, Capability analysis. Documentation Create, update and implement procedures and work instructions in regard to inspection and data gathering/analysis.

  • Computer Skills Utilize computer applications such as word processing, to develop spreadsheets and databases. Use these skills to document and analyze quality inspection data.

  • Utilize Sterile Techniques for specific material inspections.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specification documents.

  • Participate in Gauge R R Studies Documentation Provide clear documentation of results.

  • CGMP documentation practices Plant Quality Assurance Equipment Manufacturing Disposables Manufacturing Instrument Manufacturing as necessary

Requirements

  • Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Preferred Education: Technical Training in Geometrical Dimensional GD T Drawing Interpretation Required Skills/Qualifications: Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of GMP s Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations;

  • Basic statistical knowledge to include trends, pareto and other basic charting techniques.

  • Required Experience: Five years of Quality Assurance/Control Experience Preferred Experience: Quality Assurance experience in a Medical Manufacturing Environment.
