Job Summary: Join a leader in chemical logistics and transportation, as a CDL Driver/Forklift Operator. In this role, you will ensure efficient material handling, accurate inventory control, and high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Location: Garden City, GA 31408

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hr. to $20.00/hr.

  • Shift: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to written work instructions, ensuring accurate and safe execution of tasks.

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, transport materials, and place them in designated locations.

  • Perform accurate quality control checks on incoming materials, maintaining high standards of product integrity.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

  • Collaborate with teammates, including drivers, management, and customer service representatives, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Follow all safety protocols and utilize necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Promptly escalate any potential safety or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.

  • CDL is required to obtain this position.

  • Valid forklift operator certification.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory control.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.

  • Steel-toed boots are required.
