Job Description: Distribution Process Analyst (Production Planner – QC Inventory Analyst): We are looking for a strong candidate who works with our customer at the Distribution Center to reduce product scrap as well as providing timely disposition of the customer’s products at the MLC Inventory quarantine cage or incoming/customer returned products. The candidate Interacts, influences, and closely collaborates with site partners, as well as quality and supply chain partners to maintain damaged/Expired quarantine products to a reasonable and manageable inventory level while minimizing the negative P L impact of their disposition through redress, reworks, releases and re-use activities. Supports root causing to ensure products entering the quarantine cages is minimized. Do you want to join an inspirational environment where you can take your leadership abilities to the next level? Key Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision and in all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate company, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Assess finished goods for the different types of company quarantined products in MLC and , in collaboration with the franchise, develop work instructions in order to provide most appropriate future disposition. Examples but not limited to: re-dress, destruction, reprocess, return to vendor, etc.
- Ensures that the product dispositions from stock and from the Inventory quarantine cages are being performed on time and in full.
- Collect information on reasons for quarantine damage products to enable continual data analysis and develop solutions to address issues related to transportation, packaging or other reasons in order to maximize product availability to meet customer demands and needs.
- Develop digital solutions connecting data and automation to increase efficiency of deployment of solutions to meet business demands.
- Partner with other distribution centers specifically European Distribution Center EDC the Regional Distribution Center RDC to leverage learnings and deployment of solutions across all major distribution centers for company Products.
- Collaborates and influences with different functions to ensure disposition is completed in a timely manner by following up on applicable approvers.
- Trouble-shooting, support investigation incl. on the shop floor physical inspections , and recommendations to minimize product entering Inventory quarantine cages.
- Collaborate with Company Stop Shipment owners for Stop Shipments over 6 months on hold for release of Stop Shipment.
- Work with inbound teams to help resolve any inbound issues related to Company product.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition if applicable .
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s or equivalent degree is required
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analytics
- Experience or knowledge of business intelligence tools for data visualization, reporting, analytics
- Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tool required
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base and to work with coworkers
- Ability to work in a compliant way to meet high quality standards.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and to be self-sufficient at work
Preferred:
- Power Automate experience PowerBI/Power Automate experience is a plus
