Machine Assembler
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with potential for overtime)
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
The role entails a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Performing complex assembly.
- Measuring in both inch and metric units.
- Working from blueprints, part lists, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Improving related processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.
- Attending applicable meetings and implementing resulting decisions.
- Following and enforcing company rules and regulations.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending.
- Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists is helpful.
- Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints is essential.
- Must work accurately with measuring devices.
- Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy is a plus.
- Forklift license is a plus.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
