Now hiring substitute teachers for Box Elder School District serving Brigham City, Tremonton and surrounding communities!

Substitute teaching is an excellent opportunity to be a mentor and help students become the best versions of themselves. Substitute teachers are essential to ensuring students continue to learn and grow every day.

Substituting with Kelly Education:

Positively impact the education of children in the community with work that matters.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:

Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:

Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans covering various classroom topics and courses.
Assigning Reasonable tasks and homework.
Long term assignments may require developing lesson plans and creating, administering and grading tests and assignments.
Building positive relationships with other teachers, school staff, and students.
Creating a classroom environment that motivates students to learn, encourages classroom participation, and matches the education needs and interests of the students.
Using various instructional techniques to adapt to different learning styles.

Minimum requirements:

Must have a high school diploma/GED or higher and be at least 20 years of age. Must have the ability to read, write and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively.
