Kelly Services is currently accepting candidates with electronic Assembly experience to work at an Electronic manufacturer located in W. Melbourne, FL 32904.
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, programming, and packing a variety of circuit board assemblies using Pin Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technologies. This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
Job Specifications:
Full-time -Temp to hire
1st shift- 7:00:am-3:30pm $16.00/hour
2nd shift- 3:30pm-11:30pm- $17.60/hour
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Follow assembly procedures and visual aide instructions.
– Verify the integrity of materials to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and/or visual aide instruction.
– Assemble components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets) in specific printed circuit board locations, following procedures and/or visual aide instructions.
– Pre-form component leads per IPC standard, assembly procedure, and/or visual aide instruction.
– Wash printed circuit boards.
– Inspect your own work to ensure placement accuracy and completeness.
– Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
– Identify and report defective components.
– Perform pack out operations as required.
– Ensure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell.
– Maintain cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace.
– Participate in Quality team meetings, as required.
– Fulfill any other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
Qualifications & Skills:
– High School Diploma or equivalent education.
– Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature preferred.
– Electronic component assembly
– Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards.
– ESD Training.
– Ability to use various hand tools such as pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools like torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.
– Ability to work effectively as a team member.
– Strong ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
– Proficiency in reading procedures, interpreting visual aids, and following mechanical and electrical drawings.
