Customer Facing Supplier Quality Assurance Assistant Wanted!

Your Mission (if you choose to accept it):

  • Engage with Suppliers: Be the intermediary, addressing issues with incoming parts.

  • Quality Detective: Compare part measurements to blueprints. Find the outliers!

  • Master of Returns: Send back rejected parts to their source.

  • Guardian of Quality: Raise concerns, request/evaluate supplier containment, and corrective actions.

  • Track the Trends: Use SupplyOn to monitor and resolve supplier quality issues.

  • Manage Costs: Keep tabs on supplier non-conforming costs.

  • Chargeback Expert: Issue and negotiate supplier chargebacks.

  • Support Squad: Assist quality staff with non-conforming material inspections and evaluations.

  • Collaborate & Evaluate: Work solo or with Process Engineers to solve supplier quality component issues.

  • PPAP Pro: Issue and evaluate annual revalidation and replacement tooling PPAPs.

  • Launch Facilitator: Help SDE ensure supplier launch requirements are met.

  • Containment Supervisor: Oversee sorting situations to prevent defects from reaching production.

  • Safe Launch Maverick: Spearhead activities during supplier changes.

  • Inspector Extraordinaire: Examine supplied components for defects.

  • Flexible & Committed: Willing to work extra hours when needed.

  • Manufacturing Savvy: Basic familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes.

  • Tool Master: Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and microscopes.

  • Detail-Oriented: Able to independently manage intricate tasks.

  • People Person/Customer Service: Stellar communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical Mind: Strong analytical abilities.

  • Tech-Ready: Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel. We’ll train you on our software.
