We are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Rochester, NY, to find a skilled  CNC Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals with experience in precision machining and machine setup, particularly for multi-spindle machinery.

Pay: $22 – $31/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

What You’ll Do:

  • Setup & Operate Machines: Set up and operate multi-spindle CNC machines (e.g., Davenport or similar) according to blueprints and work orders, ensuring top-quality production.

  • Tooling & Materials Management: Select, inspect, and maintain tooling and materials to ensure production accuracy and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot & Adjust: Identify and resolve machine issues, adjusting settings (e.g., coolant flow, collet changes) to maintain seamless production.

  • Ensure Quality: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure parts meet exact specifications and quality standards.

  • Maintain Organization: Keep accurate records of machine performance, production output, and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

  • Drive Improvement: Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with the team to enhance production efficiency and quality.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a work environment that complies with OSHA standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3-5 years working with multi-spindle CNC Machines or similar precision equipment. (Experience with Davenport machines is a plus!)

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make quick, precise adjustments to ensure machine performance.

  • Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to achieving team and company goals.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

  • Positive Attitude: Strong communication skills and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
