  • Starting Pay: $26 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday (four 10-hour shifts)

  • Hours: 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM

  • Location: St. Clair, MO

  • Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing – Quality

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Lead to oversee the daily operations of our quality department for the night shift. This position requires leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

The Quality Lead will play a vital role in supporting quality initiatives, managing quality systems, and driving improvements to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

Duties

  • In this role, you will oversee the daily activities of the Quality team, ensuring adherence to the Quality Master Plan and execution of all quality programs.

  • You will be a super user of PQS, SAP, QMS, DCMS, and Smartsheet, and will confidently make decisions to meet safety, quality, and production objectives.

  • You will be responsible for providing training to plant personnel on quality standards and processes, facilitating nonconformance investigations, and documenting corrective actions.

  • Additionally, you will manage absences and overtime coverage for the Quality Department and support and facilitate internal and customer-driven audits.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices, backing up for generating Certificates of Analysis/Conformance and other quality documentation, and representing the quality department in meetings in the absence of the Quality Manager.

  • You will also coordinate the creation/review of SOPs and document management systems, maintain quality KPIs, and oversee product/process retains, holds, and deviations. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Processes, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with lab instrumentation experience (GC, HPLC).

  • Strong knowledge of quality processes and systems is also desired.
