For those who want to keep growing, learning, and evolving. We at Kelly® hear you, and we’re here for you! We’re hiring a Sanitation Worker / Commercial Cleaner to work at a premier food manufacturing company in Rhinelander, WI.
The job mainly involves cleaning warehouse areas and operating floor scrubbers to clean up spills and production areas. You will not be cleaning bathrooms and the like but you may be asked to do such tasks as taking the garbage out of offices and breakrooms and helping keep the facility clean.
- 7 AM to 3:30 PM
- Monday through Friday
- $20.22 per hour
What’s a typical day as a Sanitation Operator?
- Perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including the production floor, office areas and other common areas of the facility.
- Train in performing and supporting process line cleaning procedures
- Train in master sanitation cleaning procedures: responsible for sweeping, mopping, and using floor scrubber in the plant per the master sanitation schedule
- Upkeep of the general orderliness of the plant. Straighten rows, remove broken skids, clean up spills, etc.
- Assist with recycling programs like cardboard, plastic, etc. This includes using the baler for cardboard.
- Participate in task/work load handoffs with the oncoming shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to use common cleaning equipment and general knowledge of cleaning compounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- 6+ months manufacturing/production/warehouse and/or commercial cleaning experience
