Quality Assurance Manager

Kelly Services in partnership with our client, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will develop and oversee systems to maintain compliance with quality standards. They will lead continuous improvement efforts, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and a proven ability to implement effective quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Define and communicate quality goals and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and resolve non-conformities using root cause analysis techniques.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and manufacturing, to establish quality plans for new offerings.
- Review and approve quality-related documents, including test protocols, validation plans, and inspection procedures.
- Oversee quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
- Drive process improvements to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
- Promote quality best practices and champion quality-focused initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in a quality management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management) is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in a QA Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., UL, ETL, ASME).
- Proven ability to conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office tools.
