Kelly Science has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist for our growing client in Madison, WI

Full-time
Pay: $30/hr

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. This position involves maintaining the integrity of Quality Management Systems (QMS) while collaborating across departments to support manufacturing and life sciences operations. You will be responsible for reviewing records for accuracy, ensuring data integrity, overseeing material dispositions, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review production and testing records to ensure data accuracy and traceability.

  • Oversee the release of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.

  • Conduct comprehensive document reviews to support GMP and life sciences operations.

  • Provide Quality Assurance support by assisting in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), deviations, non-conformance, and investigations.

  • Write, revise, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Ensure compliance with current SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

  • Act as a key point of contact for quality-related issues and provide cross-functional support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (e.g., cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology).

  • At least 3 years of relevant quality assurance experience in a regulated environment.

  • Proficiency in cGMP practices and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

  • Experience in record review, particularly in a regulated environment, is preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the option of remote work one day per week for trained QA specialists.
