Summary
Support the Receiving area in unloading trucks and containers as needed. Responsible for managing the material flow from receiving to the final point of use using various material-handling equipment to support production processes. Maintain inventory accuracy and workplace organization.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload the Campus truck accurately and in a timely manner.
- Check paperwork and prepare building labels if necessary.
- Process Goods Receipts in SAP for inbound shipments.
- Pull parts from storage areas and deliver to assembly areas using a transport cart, pallet jack, or forklift.
- Record stock transactions, such as receiving parts into stock, issuing parts to production orders, and adjusting stock counts, in SAP using PC or barcode scanners.
- Unpack packages and stock parts on storage shelves.
Experience
- Must be organized with paperwork.
- Previous computerized shipping experience is preferred, they will work in SAP.
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds without assistance.
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Schedule
- M-F 7:00 am – 3:30 pm – always potential for OT
- Pay: $19/hour
Note: The parts warehouse is in the process of moving to Newington, CT. All roles are expected to move to Newington by January.
