Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00 – $27.00/hour

What’s a typical day as a Facility Maintenance Mechanic? You’ll be:
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance checks and services on the USP purified water system, including pumps, vapor compression stills, ion exchange columns, softeners, and carbon filters.
• Troubleshooting and repairing pumps, stills, columns, softeners, filters, and tanks.
• Assisting with maintaining various manufacturing equipment, such as pumps, mixers, and tanks.
• Performing other duties as requested by the work group leader, including housekeeping, minor repairs, and driving company vehicles.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have experience working in a manufacturing facility, specifically with pumps, mixers, and filters.
• Have at least 5 years of maintenance mechanical experience.
• Have forklift experience.
• Are familiar with computers and can locate information in equipment manuals.
• Have excellent communication skills and can effectively coordinate equipment shutdowns for maintenance.
• Can work well with a team and assist in bringing failed equipment back online.
