This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire! 

Shift:

  • Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexible)

Salary for Mechanic Manager:

  • $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

Job Overview:
The Lead Mechanic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the technical team, ensuring the smooth functioning of maintenance activities, optimal fleet health, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence and fostering team development.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and manage the performance and well-being of on-site personnel during assigned shifts.

  • Ensure team members are aligned with their roles and responsibilities.

Operational Oversight:

  • Direct and coordinate all technical operations during shifts to ensure workflows run efficiently.

  • Guarantee compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.

Fleet Maintenance:

  • Monitor fleet health, identifying issues proactively

  • Coordinate timely repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.

Shift Coordination:

  • Facilitate seamless handovers between shifts, providing critical updates and ensuring operational continuity.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive shift reports, summarizing activities, challenges, and resolutions.

Training and Development:

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to technical staff, fostering professional growth and skill enhancement.

  • Identify training needs and collaborate on implementing development programs.

Qualifications:
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in technical team management, preferably within AV or EV. Proven expertise in managing maintenance teams and ensuring operational efficiency.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively. Skilled in promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills to resolve operational challenges promptly. Competence in escalating and communicating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AV systems, including EV technology, is highly desirable.
