We’re seeking a Warehouse Clerk to work at a premier 3PL warehouse in Carson, CA. 

Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Temp to Hire 

Important Considerations for a 3PL Warehouse Clerk:
* Client Specific Requirements: Understanding and adhering to different client specifications for handling various types of products
* Multi-Client Operations: Managing orders and inventory for multiple clients simultaneously
* Flexibility: Adapting to changing priorities and workload fluctuations based on client demand 

Receiving and Processing Shipments:
– Unloading deliveries from trucks 
– Verifying quantities and condition of received goods against purchase orders and invoices 
– Inspecting for damage and reporting discrepancies 
– Labeling and storing items in designated warehouse locations using proper storage methods 

Order Picking and Packing:
– Picking items from inventory based on customer orders using pick sheets or warehouse management systems 
– Accurately packing orders according to client specifications, including proper packaging materials 
– Generating shipping labels and completing necessary paperwork 

Inventory Management:
– Maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels in the warehouse management system 
– Conducting cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy 
– Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies 

Shipping and Documentation:
– Preparing shipments for delivery by coordinating with carriers and generating shipping documents 
– Loading and securing pallets onto trucks 
– Updating shipment tracking information in the system 

Data Entry and Reporting:
– Entering data into the warehouse management system regarding receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities 
– Generating reports on inventory levels, order status, and shipment details 

Required Skills:
– Strong attention to detail 
– Excellent organizational skills 
– Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure 
– Basic computer proficiency, including warehouse management systems 
– Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes up to 50 pounds  
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
