Experienced Driver/Material Handler Needed!
Schedule: Sun-Wed 7am-7pm
Location: Ballston Spa, NY 12020
Rate of Pay: $20/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Processing:
- Unload trucks and check incoming shipments against orders
- Inspect received items for damage and accuracy
- Process and store products in appropriate locations within the warehouse
Order Picking and Packing:
- Accurately pick customer orders from storage
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping
- Ensure that all orders are complete and accurately labeled
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Replenish stock as needed
Equipment Operation:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Follow safety protocols to ensure safe operation of all machinery
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Clean Driver’s license
- DOT Certification
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle
- Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel
- Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with SAP warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team is a MUST!
