Schedule and Pay:
- Training: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- Shift: 9:00am-6pm ( NO WEEKENDS)
- Pay: $19.50/hr
- Temp to Hire position
What’s a typical day as a Fork Lift Operator?
- Operates lift trucks in order to distribute, move, ship and/or receive specified parts or equipment
- Required to obtain and maintain Forklift Driver Certification through the Company
- Picking, marshaling, sorting, packing, stacking, loading, and labeling
- Keeps accurate records of all transactions
- Resolves routine material work flow problems with assigned equipment/part orders
- Ensures more complex problems are directed appropriately
- Makes recommendations to change outdated or ineffective procedures through the kaizen process.
- May be required to utilize hand and power tools
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- At least 3 months or more of manufacturing related experience
- Some basic computer skills may be required
- Required to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials
