Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$32/hour
** Will work fully onsite initially with the potential to work a hybrid schedule once they are fully trained. Date to be determined.**

What’s a typical day as a Human Resources Workers’ Compensation Claims Handler? You’ll be:
• Analyzing and processing complex workers’ compensation claims, investigating and gathering information to determine exposure on claims.
• Managing a full caseload, including cases of increased severity, while developing action plans for timely and cost-effective resolutions.
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients, ensuring proper documentation and coding of claim files.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 3-5 years of Illinois Workers’ Compensation claims management experience, with a strong understanding of the claims process.
• Hold a college degree or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a high school diploma and relevant claims experience also accepted.
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, and are proficient in Microsoft Office products.
