Our client, a global design, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management services company is hiring a very large team of Quality Inspectors- 3rd Shift, Contract to Hire (Candidates looking for short-term work, we still want to talk to you, but this isn’t for you).
HIGHLIGHTS OF EXPERIENCE- Quality Inspectors should possess:
Minimum 1 year of Final Product Assembly experience in an electronics industry.
PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and inspection experience.
IPC certification is plus especially IPC-610.
SAP Experience is a plus.
Available Shifts: 1st Shift: M-F 7a-3p, $21.00 per hour; 2nd Shift: M-F 3p-11p, $22.26 per hour, and 3rd Shift: M-F 11p-7a: $23.52 per hour.
SUMMARY:
Quality Inspectors assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while adhering to all safety requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures, determine acceptance or rejection of product.
Work under close supervision of Manufacturing supervisor or another designated supervisor.
Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and /or AOI machines.
Enter standardized information into computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of board.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience. Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related field preferred. Must be QC certified.
Experience working in the electronic manufacturing industry.
IPC-A-6 10, IPC-A-620 or J-STD-001 certifications preferred.
Experience inspecting PCBA (Printed Circuit Boards) preferred.
