Direct Hire 1st Shift Quality Technician 
Location: Wadsworth, OH
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday)
Pay: $24-27 per hour

Kelly has partnered with an employee-owned manufacturer based in Wadsworth, OH who’s seeking a Quality Technician III to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completion and retention of PPAP and FAI documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements.

  • Lead the development and completion of PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, and inspection guides.

  • Support the APQP process to identify and meet customer requirements during new product launches.

  • Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and customer specifications.

  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Sales to achieve quality and customer requirements.

  • Assist in internal audits, process improvements, and ongoing quality performance monitoring.

  • Participate in customer source inspections and review material certification packages as needed.

  • Support general QA Lab responsibilities including receiving inspection and product testing.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with PPAP, FAI, and the APQP process, preferably in aerospace.

  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, and AS9145 standards.

  • Experience with AIAG standards, PFMEA/DFMEA, Control Plans, and Gage R&R.

  • Proficiency in engineering drawings, measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc., and statistical software 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to a zero-defect mentality.

  • Ability to work independently or in teams and communicate effectively across departments.
