Mechanical Project Engineer
Avondale PA
Direct Hire 
Salary 90k – 110k (Depending on experience level)

LOCATION NOTES – Roles starts in Avondale PA, then 2026 moving to new facility in Coatesville, PA)

Description

  • Develop and support new and innovative products and customer projects from the initial design stage through product testing and commercialization.

  • Provide ongoing support to the manufacturing operation to improve processes and troubleshoot problems.

  • Principal Responsibility

  • Develop initial product design, including drawings and functional requirements. Research options.

  • Perform design, strength, flow, vibration, thermal, etc. analysis of equipment and components.

  • Prepare drawings and procedures for equipment and processes 

  • Provide cost estimates and periodic updates on the product, schedule design reviews and communicate issues.

  • Develop product test plans and evaluate performance at the prototype, pilot and field testing stages. 

  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing.

  • Communicate with customer and vendors as required.

  • Ensure products and processes are well documented.

  • Support quality group with issue resolution. 

  • Develop work instructions, manuals and training for engineering, manufacturing and operations.

  • Acts in the interest of the company at all times. 

  • Actively ensure that his/her own health and safety and the health and safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times. 

  • Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer 

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements for this position:  Bachelor’s degree or MS in engineering 2. 3 years of experience in mechanical design

  • Practical knowledge of materials and manufacturing

  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, chemical processes and electrical design Drafting knowledge SolidWorks and ACAD preferred 

  • Excellent technical communication skills including proficiency in MS Office suite
