Salary: $60,000- $65,000 per year

Position Overview:
The Senior Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting the sales function by ensuring accurate processing of sales orders, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient communication across departments. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to handle complex issues involving customers, sales, manufacturing, marketing, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage sales orders to ensure timely fulfillment.

  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and shipments.

  • Coordinate and organize customer shipments based on inventory availability and priority requirements.

  • Maintain constant communication with customers regarding shipment updates and order status.

  • Track and monitor all shipments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Maintain an up-to-date filing system for all relevant customer and order information.

  • Address and resolve customer concerns, collaborating with sales, manufacturing, marketing, and logistics teams as needed.

  • Provide timely and effective solutions to complex problems, leveraging investigative and decision-making skills.

  • Support sales activities and initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

  • Serve as a mentor and resource to junior team members, ensuring a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service, inside sales, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain is an asset.

  • Strong MS Office skills, especially with Excel; SAP experience is an asset.

  • High sense of urgency with the ability to be empathetic and build strong customer relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving, investigative, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
