Job details
Role: Accounting and Office Manager / Full Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Jamestown, NY 100% onsite
Duration: Direct hire, permanent role
Salary: $60-$75,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00a – 4:00p, slightly flexible -some overtime required occasionally
Qualifications
- 5 + years relevant office management and accounting experience required
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office required
- Ability to quickly and accurately learn and implement proprietary software systems required
- Experience building a strong team
- Solid organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including a professional tone of voice at all times
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates and /or bachelors degree preferred
Responsibilities
- As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, training and motivating the Office team
- Full charge bookkeeping within QuickBooks online
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash applications
- Verify and Analyze financial reports
- Manage timekeeping and employee set up for payroll
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash applications
- You will manage the office team to perform all job file coordination and invoicing functions, oversee administrative activities, and ensure customer satisfaction
- You will serve as the in-house expert on QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and multiple proprietary software systems
- Manage reception, dispatcher, file coordinator, and HR administrator areas/ employees
- Coordinate and maintain company calendar and franchise communication
- Verify payroll and transmit hours worked, PTO earned and used to accountant for processing
- Develop and document divisional and franchise annual plans and performance
- Manage office organization and supplies
