Kelly Services is looking for a Package Handler for the Fort Worth, TX area. 

Monday to Friday, 3rd shift / 9:30 PM to 4:30 AM

Two-week project
Pay – $20hr

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Package Handlers for a two-week project in Fort Worth, TX. The Package Handler will play a crucial role in the logistics and distribution process by efficiently sorting, handling, and processing packages to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package Sorting: Sort and organize packages according to destination and delivery routes to ensure efficient processing.

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from delivery trucks and conveyor systems, ensuring minimal damage to items.

  • Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and verify that they match shipping documentation, reporting any discrepancies.

  • Manual Handling: Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds as needed, using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.

  • Data Entry: Accurately input package tracking information into the system as required.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a productive work environment.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

  • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.

  • Heavy lifting and walking: must be able to lift 50 or more and walking for 8 hours.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or package handling environment is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
