Packaging Sales Engineer
Location: Northeast US
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 DOE
Job Summary:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. You will be the primary point of contact for potential customers, current customers, and will work closely with the engineering team to provide customized packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate and close sales opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Understand the technical aspects of packaging solutions and be able to discuss them with customers.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Travel extensively within the Northeastern US territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.
• Travel to Spain several times per year and at least 3 tradeshows per year.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer information.
Qualifications:
• 3-4 years of experience in industrial sales solutions in the packaging industry.
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively (70%-80%) within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in using CRM software Dynamics preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
