We at Kelly® hear you, and we are here for you! We’re seeking a CNC Machinist to work at a premier manufacturing company in Santa Cruz, CA. Take a closer look below.

Pay Rate: $30.00 hr.
Schedule: Day Shift Mon. to Fri. 7am to 3:30pm + OT as require.

Responsibilities:
• Setting up, adjusting, and maintaining all equipment used in daily, CNC Mills & Lathe’s. job activities.
• Ensuring that the job is produced to the appropriate specifications and quality standards.
• Operating the machine in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Mast have experience with the Swiss Screw Machine and maximizing machine up-time and part yield.
• Performing in-process inspections on parts and reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintaining accuracy of data entered in the MRP/ERP system.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.

Qualification:
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have vocational school or apprenticeship training (preferred).
• Possess excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Have experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and  must have experience with Swiss Screw Machines and operating a 5 axis machines.
• Can read and interpret drawings and data.
• Have outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities.
