Pay Rate: $21 / hnr – $22 / hr
Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm

What’s a typical day as a Quality Layout Inspector? You’ll be:
- Applying your concise knowledge and working experiences with Inspection Layout principles & gauging.
- Utilizing exceptional Engineering Blueprint Reading skills, including strong GD&T methods and concepts.
- Working with precision Automotive Engine related components, such as Cylinder Heads, Cylinder Blocks, Crankshaft, Camshafts, Ancillary Engine Components, Electrification Components, etc.
- Familiarizing yourself with Casting & Forging Layout Inspection.
- Utilizing your working knowledge of both Metric & English measurement standards.
- Operating Zeiss, CMM, Adcole, Opticline, Coherix, and Hommel Surface Finish & Contouring equipment to obtain complex, precise measurements of Automotive Components.
- Implementing Millipore Component Cleanliness processes.
- Programming Zeiss Calypso 7.0 and Adcole Program Builder software.
- Utilizing your working knowledge of Drafting & 3D Modelling software, such as CATIA V5, VisMocup, and AutoCad.
- Communicating measurement findings in a concise and professional manner to the Engineering & Machining Community.
- Maintaining Inspection data records in relation to Ford EMDO’s Quality Operating Systems and Processes.
- Utilizing your good knowledge of MS Office software.
- Working independently with minimal supervision.

- Have concise knowledge and working experiences with Inspection Layout principles & gauging.
- Possess exceptional Engineering Blueprint Reading skills, including strong GD&T methods and concepts.
- Have experience working with precision Automotive Engine related components.
- Are familiar with Casting & Forging Layout Inspection.
- Have a working knowledge of both Metric & English measurement standards.
- Have practical understanding, set up, and operating experience of Zeiss, CMM, Adcole, Opticline, Coherix, and Hommel Surface Finish & Contouring equipment.
- Have experience with Millipore Component Cleanliness processes.
- Have programming knowledge of Zeiss Calypso 7.0 and Adcole Program Builder software.
- Have a working knowledge of Drafting & 3D Modelling software, such as CATIA V5, VisMocup, and AutoCad.
- Can communicate measurement findings in a concise and professional manner.
- Can maintain Inspection data records in relation to Ford EMDO’s Quality Operating Systems and Processes.
- Have a good knowledge of MS Office software.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
