Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking Environmental Specialist (Senior) for a 12 month contract position at a Global Pharmaceutical client in Manati, Puerto Rico. Overview
This client is Global Biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.
In this role you’ll be responsible for Provides technical and regulatory guidance on environmental programs, focusing on recognizing, evaluating, and controlling environmental hazards. Advices management on the proper procedures, work practices, equipment to use in order to ensure compliance with all legal requirement and regulations in these fields.
Implements EHS self-assessment programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable local, federal regulations and company directives.

Schedule: 1st shift (8-5pm)
Responsibilities:
- Reviews capital renovations and new construction projects to ensure environmental requirements are addressed.
- Administers Environmental programs for the site which include the following duties:
- Delivers environmental training programs.
- Leads Environmental Permits and Reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Reports to management any new requirement, deviation to permits and potential regulatory changes.
- Maintains environmental records, manages environmental sampling, reports monitoring results, and recommends control measures to management.
- Delivers environmental training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related EH&S field)
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience leading Environmental areas in the Pharmaceutical, or Chemical industry.
- **Manager can consider candidates with 3+ years of experience
- Fully cognizant of applicable Federal and Commonwealth rules and regulations
- Fully bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills, both written and verbal.
