Salary: $90k-$110k (flexible dependent on experience)

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives at our Kennesaw, Georgia facility. This role involves implementing and supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), assessing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance, and ensuring excellence in food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to ensure all regulatory and quality requirements are met across site operations.
- Oversee food safety and quality assurance functions, including HACCP system verification and QMS management.
- Manage and mentor a team focused on quality assurance, quality control, and environmental compliance.
- Lead document control, process control, and training initiatives to support quality standards.
- Validate facility operations, equipment, and processes.
- Collaborate on QA reviews, management oversight, and product development.
- Offer technical guidance in new product development to ensure quality and shelf life optimization.
- Investigate consumer and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Support sanitation teams with technical solutions to ensure safety standards.
- Confirm that all released products meet testing specifications and labeling requirements.
- Plan, execute, and analyze internal audits to assess and address quality gaps.
Required Qualifications
- MS/BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing and executing QA strategies within the food industry.
- Proven experience in benchmarking, implementing, and enhancing best practices in quality assurance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively delegate tasks and report outcomes.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multitask.
- Experience with HACCP, GFSI, AIB, SPC, and other quality programs.
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, product formulation, and documentation.
