Quality Technician – Join Our Mission to Deliver Safe and Effective Medical Products (1st Shift)

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our medical products, impacting the lives of patients around the world.

In this role, you will:

  • Support quality assurance: Assist in implementing and maintaining quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDSAP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/211, EU MDR, and other relevant regulations.

  • Investigate and resolve issues: Work collaboratively with operations teams to investigate and document product and process non-conformances, leveraging problem-solving techniques to ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Ensure product quality: Conduct in-process sub-assembly and final QC product acceptance testing to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate records: Review device history records, authorize release of finished products/processes, and execute calibration and environmental monitoring processes.

  • Contribute to a positive team environment: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating a professional attitude and commitment to team success.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, OR Associate Degree (Engineering/Scientific).

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment or other technical production tasks with a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment or other technical production tasks with an Associate Degree.

  • Experience with mathematical skills including ratios, proportions, and basic algebra.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
