Job details

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our partner. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading and interpreting machinery repair instructions and schematics, as well as drafting and designing simple control circuits. Proficiency in basic welding, general fabrication, and assembly is required. 

Salary: $31 and above (Based on experience
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Direct Hire 

Responsibilities:
– Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of metal working and finishing equipment, including CNC and conventional machines
– Perform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and emergency maintenance on machinery
– Communicate with technical representatives to obtain component parts and information for repairs
– Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to complete repairs and installations
– Troubleshoot and adjust printed circuit board controls, CNC equipment, servo systems, and machine equipment
– Install, repair, and replace electrical equipment and devices as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Collaborate with team members in a corrective action environment

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a formal two-year apprenticeship program or four years of equivalent job experience
– Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts
– Basic math skills and ability to read, write, analyze, comprehend, and make decisions
– Certification in industrial truck driving permit (Class I, II, IV, & V forklift)
– Preferred certification or equivalent experience in manufacturing maintenance technology program
– Preferred certification or experience in PLC programming, debug, and repair
– Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
