Job details

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our partner in Jackson, TN.

CNC Machinists will set up and operate a variety of machines, including CNC, automatic screw machines, dial, and in-line transfer machines. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce required products according to specifications and prints. The Machine Operator will read and interpret blueprints, perform inspections using precision measuring tools, maintain machine settings, and ensure the quality of the final product. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to prioritize work, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Pay Rate: $24 and up (based on experience)
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, OT available 
Direct Hire 

Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate CNC, automatic screw machines, dial, and in-line transfer machines
– Read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions
– Perform inspections using precision measuring tools
– Change tooling and maintain machine settings for quality production
– Lubricate machines and maintain a neat and orderly work area
– Maintain appropriate KanBan records and levels
– Palletize material and remove chips and shavings as needed
– Prioritize work and work with minimal supervision
– Lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods

Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED
– Ability to read blueprints and utilize measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, comparators, gauges, and micrometers
– Proficiency in mathematical calculations
– 3-5 years of successful experience operating CNC lathes, CNC drills, and washers
– Precision and attention to detail in operating machines and producing quality products
– Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods
