Initial 6-month Contract Opportunity with potential for extension/hire
Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
Target pay rate: $45 – 55 p/hr. based on experience.

What’s a typical day as an Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist? You’ll be:
- Building, implementing, and managing a comprehensive internal communications strategy to increase employee engagement and alignment.
- Maintaining the organization-wide intranet and creating compelling communications across multiple channels.
- Creating and editing wide range of engaging, creative, and targeted communications assignments across multiple company-wide channels (Intranet, email, digital signage, print, PowerPoint presentations).
- Helping to ensure that employees are informed, aligned, and connected with company vision, values, and business objectives.
- Leading organization-wide Town Halls and supporting change management initiatives.
- Setting clear metrics, measuring the success of, and making needed improvements to messaging, channels, and communication practices.
- Assisting with planning and executing employee engagement events and initiatives.
- Facilitating feedback channels and promoting achievements and cultural events.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Have 5 years of related work experience in internal communications in a corporate environment.
- Possess strong writing skills and knowledge of AP and corporate styles.
- Have experience in crafting impactful multi-channel internal communications initiatives.
- Are proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of programs, especially Advanced PowerPoint and SharePoint. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on InDesign.
