Kelly is hiring a material handler for a warehouse that produces personal care ingredients in Spartanburg, SC.

This is a long-term contract to hire role with benefits. Pay is $20/hr and benefits include Health Insurance, 401K, 3 weeks of PTO, Paid Breaks, and 8 Paid Holidays. Pay is weekly.  

Position is on a rotating dupont shift. You will work 6:45a-7p for TWO WEEKS and 6:45p-7a for TWO WEEKS and rotate. One week you will work Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat and the next week you will work Sun/Wed/Thurs. There is some OT which is mostly voluntary and almost always available for those wanting to pickup some extra cash! 

Must have some chemical operator experience to be considered for the role. Uniform, safety shoes, and all equipment needed will be paid for and provided. Will train on Sitdown Forklift and SAP Software as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Filling product into drums and totes. This may be done at the automated drumming station or at manual scales. Product may be pumped from storage tanks, production vessels of tankers. 
– Monitoring scales and controls for accurate filling 
– Preparing packages for shipping, making sure they are clean and labeled
– Entering batch confirmations into SAP
– Maintaining a clean and safe work environment 
– Transferring of finished materials through pipes and hoses with pumps; operating valves, manipulating switches, etc., for drum line operation and sampling 
– Moving materials via sit-down forklift 
– Notifying supervisor or team leader of any unusual situation that may require attention
– Conducting visual inspection of all equipment to determine status before operating.
– Cleaning vessels, pumps and process lines to avoid product contamination. Is a teammate on emergency crew for emergency response.
