Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
– Pay Rate: 1st shift $16.50 per hour / 2nd shift $18.15 / 3rd shift $18.15
– $500 bonus upon completing 90 days
What’s a typical day as an Assembly Operator? You’ll be:
• Inspecting your own work using quality standards and work instructions
• Conducting pull tests as needed for particular operations
• Measuring components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices
• Inspecting product to print
• Completing necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product
• Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment
• Maintaining general housekeeping of work area
• Following company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies
• Following safety guidelines
• Reading and performing tasks according to drawings
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED required
• Have a minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Have basic computer skills preferred
• Have good communication skills
• Have the ability to interpret product blueprints preferred
• Have the ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
• Have experience with using measuring devices (gages, calipers, etc.) preferred
• Are available to work overtime to support production goals as needed
• Are able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Are able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
• Are able to operate machinery
• Are able to move between work zones
• Are proficient and able to understand written instructions in the English language
