Salary DOE – $125K- $150k range plus bonus

Exciting opportunity for a Sales and Distribution Director is to consistently achieve desired business results, positively influence customers, and develop and facilitate the growth of the Internal and External Retail Regional Sales Team. This includes leading, motivating, training, and directing the Territory Managers to accomplish corporate goals. The Director is responsible for implementing, motivating, and managing all sales-related corporate programs and communicating specific sales programs to internal support teams and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Industry Knowledge: Must possess extensive knowledge of the flooring industry and Home Legend’s internal/external procedures to address customer needs or problems effectively.

  • Leadership and Motivation: Lead, motivate, train, and direct the Territory Managers to accomplish corporate goals and objectives through positive reinforcement and strategic thinking.

  • Territory Management: Understand and demonstrate the full scope of a Territory Manager’s job, including selling, order processing, claim processing, and problem-solving.

  • Goal Setting and KPI Development: Set the pace for corporate goals through the development and consistent management of KPIs and retail sales results.

  • Travel and Expansion: Conduct monthly travel with Territory Managers to drive growth and secure new Key Accounts.

  • Effective Communication: Master the selling process at the Territory Manager level to be an effective coach and communicator.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

  • Four-year college degree preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field

  • 10 years of successful outside sales experience

  • 4 to 5 years of sales management experience

  • Flooring industry experience

  • Critical Thinker
