Salary: $75-85,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Location: Monroe, NC
Duration: Permanent position with benefits

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance and Engineering Manager? You’ll be:
• Leading, training, and managing a team of maintenance technicians on two shifts
• Coordinating maintenance coverage and repairs during after hours
• Ensuring all equipment and building structures are properly maintained to maximize production efficiency and ensure a safe work environment
• Designing and implementing engineering solutions to improve machine operating systems and components
• Providing training to maintenance and operator teams on equipment operation and repairs
• Participating in safety meetings and addressing potential safety issues

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance management
• Have experience working with electrical control systems, pneumatic control systems, sewing machine repairs, mechanical repairs, welding, and/or repair of facility utility systems
• Hold an associate’s degree or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance management
• Have excellent communication skills and a “team player” mentality
• Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Have knowledge of machine control systems and troubleshooting control systems
• Are proficient in hands-on repair skills and comfortable working with power tools and high voltage electrical equipment
• Have knowledge of safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols
