We’re seeking a Production Sanitation Operator to work at a premier food manufacturing and distribution facility in Portland, ME. This role is not a maintenance/janitorial role. Does this sound good? Shift: 2PM-10PM
Pay: 21.75

What’s a typical day as a Sanitation Operator? You’ll be:
• Understanding batch/lot, sampling, and HACCP procedures/systems.
• Maintaining the Master Sanitation list.
• Performing sanitation duties within the facility and production floor.
• Operating the floor scrubber and maintaining its cleanliness.
• Mopping the production floor.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning lists.
• Having a good understanding of Kerry’s policies, expectations, quality standards, and production processes.
• Demonstrating a positive attitude and relating positively with all personnel.
• Working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Basic computer experience.
Working Conditions:
• Food manufacturing plant.
• Warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, perform arm extensions, and work at elevated heights.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
