Kelly is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our partner.

The primary focus of this role will be on performing incoming inspections, handling nonconforming materials, and conducting quality audits. The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Location: Summerville, SC
Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $25-28
Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:
– Perform incoming inspections on all required parts and materials
– Maintain the defective material control system
– Communicate with production lines to resolve quality issues
– Assist in the calibration control system
– Develop and perform quality audits for all production areas, ensuring compliance with procedures and processes
– Perform final inspection duties as required by workload and ship schedule
– Conduct emissions testing using the Symtech machine
– Operate the truck dynamometer

Qualifications:
– Proficiency in the use of the Faro Arm portable CMM
– Working knowledge of measuring and test equipment
– Experience with forklifts and forklift parts is a plus
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
– Proficiency with Windows operating systems, including Excel and Word
– Strong organizational skills

Education:
– High school diploma
– Associates degree or a 2-year technical degree with an emphasis in quality is a plus
