Kelly Services is seeking an experienced PCB Rework Operator a for a busy electronics Manufacturer located in W. Melbourne, FL 32904

Job Summary:
PCBA Rework Operator, you will play a crucial role in reworking, repairing, and modifying printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). Reporting to the Supervisor for Rework Repair, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of the assembled materials. Your attention to detail and expertise in electronic components will contribute to the overall success of the production process. This is a full-time position located on-site, offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic work environment.

Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-Time/ Temp to hire
– Location: On-site
– Pay Rate:  Depends on experience
– Shift: 2nd- 3:30pm-11:30pm ( will train on 1st for 2-4 weeks)

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Perform rework, repairs, and modifications by hand or at a rework station following assembly procedures and visual aide instructions.
– Verify the integrity of the material to be assembled.
– Work with electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets, etc.
– Identify and replace damaged or faulty electronic components.
– Solder electronic components in specific printed circuit board locations and/or repair soldering mistakes.
– Responsible for hand soldering, stuffing, and mechanical assembly.
– Add wires to specific locations following assembly procedures, engineering change orders (ECO), wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, etc.
– Add/remove components utilizing de-soldering tools, soldering irons, etc.
– Repair printed circuit board etches, pads, and vias utilizing advanced soldering techniques, epoxy applications, etc.
– Pre-form component leads per IPC standard, assembly procedure, etc.
– Removal and replacement of BGA’s, utilizing solder wick and epoxy.
– Ensure all reworked, repaired, or modified products meet quality standards.
– Work from schematics, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions to repair, rework, or modify assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
– Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and surrounding workspace.
– May train other employees.
– Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.
– Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Must possess IPC 7711/7721, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001 certifications.
– Must be familiar with reworking, repairing, and modifying printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
– 5+ years of electronics assembly and soldering of PCBs in rework and inspection desired.
– Experience in advanced de-soldering, soldering techniques, and advanced repair techniques.
– Knowledge of component value identification and other component nomenclature.
– Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO 13485.
– ESD training.
– Able to read test procedures, schematics, and follow verbal and written instructions.
– Experience with high-volume work.
– Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
