Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Manager in Chicago, IL (60609) – highly preferred that you are bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese.

This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

  • 1st shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday

  • Pay: $100,000 – $110,000 annually

Job Description:
This role will be responsible for the management of all production processes and teams within the facility.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills along with an adaptive, problem solving mindset.  The production manager will create effective processes, set parameters and implement directives to insure on time delivery of high quality protective products.

  • Collaborate with the planning team to develop production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and output.

  • Achieve and maintain top quality on all products made. Conduct regular inspections and audits to insure compliance.

  • Lead and motivate the production teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement and increased output within the production lines.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness.

  • Manage and optimize the use of production resources, including equipment and personnel, to achieve production targets.

  • Generate regular production reports, detailing key performance indicators, production outputs, and any deviations from set targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production processes and procedures.

  • Achieve set goals for efficiency, output, lead time, and headcount.

Requirements:

  • HSED or GED plus five years of Production Management experience

  • Highly preferred bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese
