Job Shifts and Compensation:
- A Shift: Sunday-Wednesday (6am-4pm) | $18/hour
- B Shift: Thursday-Saturday (6am-6pm) | $19/hour
- C Shift: Sunday-Wednesday (5pm-3am) | $20/hour
- D Shift: Thursday-Saturday (6pm-6am) | $21/hour
Position Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for manually or by hand truck moving materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks. This position typically reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Lead.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manually or using hand truck, performs various material handling duties in the facility.
- Manually loads finished products on pallets or hand trucks.
- Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas.
- Provides cleaning services, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices, and removing trash to proper containers or designated areas.
- Performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
- Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Walking in the distribution center and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Ability to access all areas of the building without limitations.
- Strong attention to detail.
