Job details
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily customer order fulfillment activities within an assigned area(s) of a distribution facility. This position requires demonstrating safety and operational expertise within a quality and productivity driven environment. The role will involve performing at least one or more distribution-related activities (e.g., order filling, shipping, receiving) on a regular basis.
Job Schedule and Pay
- Inbound – Picking (Day Shift): 7am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday, $18/hr
- Outbound – Packing (Day Shift): 7:30am – 6pm, Monday to Thursday, $18/hr
- Inbound – Picking (Night Shift): 6pm – 5:30am, Monday to Thursday, $19/hr
- Outbound – Packing (Night Shift): 6:30pm – 5:00am, Monday to Thursday, $19/hr
- Weekend Day Shift (Inbound and Outbound): 7am – 7pm, $19/hr
- Weekend Night Shift (Outbound – Packing): 7pm – 7am, $20/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform one or more distribution-related functions such as checking, picking, packing, replenishment, bin/bulk order fill, bin/bulk stocking, shipping, receiving/returns, sorting, or loading.
- Operate a pallet jack to move products around (on occasion).
- Maintain a safe work environment through continuous focus on housekeeping and safety.
- Demonstrate commitment to company core values.
- Interact with supervisors, leads, and/or work groups to share information related to immediate tasks.
- Participate in the implementation and contribution of ideas for continuous improvements to the distribution process in a group setting.
- Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Basic ability to communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds infrequently.
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and fine manipulate equipment using hands throughout the work hours.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces (though infrequently).
- One (1) year previous related experience preferred.
