As a Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role supporting operations and maintenance of advanced water treatment systems at a primary site plus possibly other customers in a geographic area. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy working with new technology and are equally at home in a team or operating independently, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Positions are Contract to Hire, candidates only seeking permanent, full-time work are encouraged to apply.  This position is perfect for someone in the trades not looking to travel and looking for stability!

Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance.
Conduct maintenance and calibration activities.
Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the maintenance/repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
Experience with water treatment equipment a plus. Team would love to see on resumes experience with stationary equipment (boilers, chillers, etc.)   Team would love to see on resumes experience with water treatment, water treatment equipment or relevant experience in these areas.

No Travel, onsite roles with great first shift hours. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required, all trades are welcome to apply! Water treatment experience very desirable, but not required. Anyone in trades, pipe fitter etc. would fit very well!
Position is on a nuclear campus, room is outside of radiation conducting water treatment services.
