Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking an Accounting Assistant to work at a premier accounting firm in Sherman, TX. Sound like something you’re interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
– Pay rate: $20-26/hr (negotiable for exceptional candidates)

What’s a typical day as an Accounting Assistant? You’ll be:
• Assisting the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records
• Handling data entry tasks, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
• Preparing and distributing financial reports as needed
• Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Collaborating with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintaining and organizing accounting files and documents
• Providing general administrative support to the accounting department

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• Have previous experience working in an accounting firm or accounting department
• Are familiar with Lacert (tax program) and payroll
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information
