Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Pathology Lab Analyst position at a leading testing laboratory in Omaha Nebraska. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform analysis of various samples for pathogens, chemistries, and organisms

  • Review analysis results and notify management of deviations

  • Utilize aseptic and microbiological techniques

  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment quality control

  • Participate in various quality tasks including taking incubator temperatures, running media controls, etc.

  • Follow processes per company policies and customer requirements

  • Monitor and report inventory

  • Prioritize safety in all activities

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • AS or BS degree in Life Science or related field with 2+ years lab experience is preferred

  • HS Diploma and 2+ years of industry lab experience will also be considered

  • Knowledge of aseptic sampling, automated lab equipment, and relevant guidelines is preferred

  • Familiarity with GLP, OSHA, FDA, BAM, APHA, ISO, and USP methods would be a plus

    JOB DETAILS: 
    Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, Second Shift hours
    Job Type: Direct hire
    Pay Rate: $21/hour
