Kelly® is seeking a Machine Operator to work at a premier manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC.
$19 per hour
7am – 7p OR 7pm – 7am
What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Operating multiple weaving looms simultaneously to meet production targets.
• Monitoring looms continuously and making adjustments to ensure fabric meets quality standards.
• Maintaining materials during product runs, including changing filler bobbins and cutting thread.
• Identifying and repairing machine malfunctions and troubleshooting problems.
• Inspecting fabric to detect and prevent defects.
• Completing quality checks and entering data into the ERP system.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Have 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment (textile experience is a plus).
• Have excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Have the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Possess precise manual dexterity and competent math skills.
• Are comfortable using computers to input simple data.
• Lifting requirement of up to 40 lbs.
