Kelly® is looking for an Industrial Electrician to work for one of our clients at their BRAND NEW facility! Our client is a premier manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC. Pay Rate: $28-34/HR
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM (This facility will become a 24/7 facility a few years down the road)
Duration: Permanent position with full benefits 
Location: Charlotte, NC

What’s a typical day as an Industrial Electrician? You’ll be:
• Diagnosing, installing, repairing, testing, and calibrating complex AC and DC electrical systems
• Performing preventative and routine maintenance on all equipment
• Assisting with training of operators in maintenance tasks
• Assisting operators with machine troubleshooting to correct quality issues and minimize downtime
• Evaluating trends/patterns on repaired equipment and implementing actions to eliminate repetitive repair work
• Installing new equipment or performing upgrades to existing equipment
• Sourcing and ordering parts as needed and assisting in the management of the spare parts area
• Completing documentation of work performed
• Setting an example of safe work practices in every job performed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a certificate, degree, or apprenticeship in an electrical or electronics trade
• Have a North Carolina electrical license (required)
• Have 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Have knowledge and understanding of 480V 3 phase power
• Have experience with mechanical power transfer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Are competent in reading electrical and mechanical schematics
• Have forklift operation, crane operation, and rigging experience
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Are detail-oriented with a natural preference to see things orderly
• Are computer literate in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Have the ability to see colors
• Have a working knowledge of NFPA electrical standards for industrial machinery
• Have PLC programming and troubleshooting basic experience, especially Siemens
• Are familiar with the National Electrical Code NFPA 70 (preferred)
